Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, recognized the commencement of direct passenger flights between the capitals Dushanbe and Beijing as a significant mileston.

From March 3 to March 7, 2025, the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a training course within the framework of the CASE II project on the topic "National Auditors preparation - Level I" with the participation of experienced specialists of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) Alexander Yankov - ECAC flight safety expert, former Director General of the Civil Aviation Administration of Bulgaria, Rustem Kabanbaev - Chief Inspector of the Department of Civil Aviation Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ECAC flight safety expert, industry specialists of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, heads of the aviation security service of international airports of the country and national airlines.
The purpose of this training course is to enhance and ensure aviation security at airports and airlines. It is worth noting that during this training course, participants visited the pre-flight checking points of passengers at the country’s airport.
We hope that these training courses will play an effective role in enhancing the knowledge and skills of industry employees in the field of aviation security and, thus, in ensuring security at the country's airports and the development of civil aviation.

On April 7, 2025, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Nazarzoda Habibullo and Deputy General Director of OJSC “Dushanbe International Airport” Malikzoda Asliddin participated in the 14th Annual Investment Congress (AIM Congress-2025), which was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The meeting discussed issues related to attracting foreign investments for the development of the civil aviation industry.

On March 31, 2025, a meeting was held between Ma Bing, First Deputy Director General of the Civil Aviation Administration of the People's Republic of China, Wang Zheng, CEO of China Southern Airlines, and Nazarzoda Habibullo, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The meeting discussed the organization of direct flights on the Dushanbe-Beijing-Dushanbe and Dushanbe-Guangzhou-Dushanbe routes, as well as the opening of the new air navigation route L181 (AGVUT).
Over the past few years, the country's civil aviation has developed in accordance with the demands of the time and has become one of the most important sectors of the national economy.

In order to develop the country's civil aviation industry, expand the geography of flights, facilitate citizens' travel, and promote the tourism industry, the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan informs residents of the country that starting from April 15, 2025, CNENGDU Airlines is scheduled to open a regular route in the direction of Kashgar – Khujand – Kashgar.
Flights are operated once a week, on Tuesdays, at 09:05, with a flight duration of 2 hours and 40 minutes.
