Favorable meetings for the development and competitiveness of the civil aviation industry of the Republic of Tajikistan
On May 15-16, 2024, a meeting was held between the the Regional Director European and North - Atlantic Office ICAO, Nicolas Rallo with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan honorable Usmonzoda Usmonali, the management and employees of the Civil Aviation Agency and the managing staff of aviation enterprises SUE “Tajikairnavigation”, OJSC “Dushanbe International Airport”, OJSC “Tajik” Air" and “Air company Somon Air” LLC, where issues and problems in the field of civil aviation were discussed.

THE FIRST DUSHANBE – TBILISI FLIGHT TOOK PLACE
Somon Air and FLY.TJ opened a direct flight from Dushanbe to the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. With the launch of this flight, citizens of both countries will have the opportunity to discover another beautiful country, get to know each other’s history, culture and traditions.
The first flight from Dushanbe to Tbilisi took place on May, 22. Flights will be operated once a week, on Wednesdays. Departure time from Dushanbe is 09:00. Departure time from Tbilisi is 12:40 local time. All flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft.

Today, a meeting dedicated to Victory Day was held in the hall of the Civil Aviation Agency. During the event, the director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Nazarzoda Habibullo Temur, spoke, noting, in particular, that during the Great Patriotic War, 294 thousand residents of Tajikistan voluntarily went to the front along with 15 republics of the former Soviet Union and fought for victory over Hitler's fascism.
