CIVIL AVIATION AGENCY UNDER THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

     On March 11, 2025, a meeting was held in the hall of the Civil Aviation Agency between the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Nazarzoda Habibullo and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China Ji Shumin. The main goal of the meeting was to expand routes, open direct flights between the capitals of the two countries and further develop the civil aviation sector.

     A solemn meeting dedicated to Mother's Day was held at the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

     The Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan congratulates all employees and specialists of the country's aviation industry, loyal and devoted soldiers of the Motherland on the 32nd anniversary of the National Army Day of the Republic of Tajikistan and wishes you prosperity, loyalty, a good and peaceful life.

     On February 20, 2025, a meeting took place in the hall of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan between the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency, Nazarzoda Habibullo, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Jamal Bakr Abdullah. The main goal of the meeting was the development of the civil aviation industry of both countries and the signing of cooperation agreements in this field.

With the direct support of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, the Honorable Emomali Rahmon and the initiative of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Civil Aviation of our country is developing from year to year. This is confirmed by the signing of the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the procedure for using the technical device “Electronic Gates” at international airports of the Republic of Tajikistan”, which entered into force on December 1, 2024.

On February 10-12, 2025, the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan participated in the Global Implementation Support Symposium, which was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The aforementioned Symposium was attended by Juan Carlos Salazar, Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Nicolas Rallo, Regional Director for Europe and the North Atlantic of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Saif Muhammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Civil Aviation Administration of the United Arab Emirates, as well as Heads of Civil Aviation authorities from more than 35 foreign countries.
On the first day of the event, the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Nazarzoda Habibullo delivered a report on the readiness of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on flight safety and aviation security issues, as well as on expanding cooperation with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and foreign countries.

Also, on January 11 of this year, a meeting was held between the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Nazarzoda Habibullo and the Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates - Saif Muhammed Al Suwaidi. At the meeting, issues of organizing direct flights on the Dushanbe-Abu Dhabi and Dushanbe-Sharjah routes, as well as the issue of opening cargo flights were discussed.

     During the event, meetings were held between the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the General Director of “Air Arabia” and the Regional Director of “Wizz Air” with the aim of opening new routes and attracting foreign investment.

     We hope that the aforementioned meetings will have a significant impact on the development of the country's Civil Aviation industry.

     On January 29, 2025, a press conference was held in the conference hall of OJSC “Tajik Air” under the leadership of the Director of the Agency Nazarzoda Habibullo Temur, as well as the General Director of OJSC “Tajik Air” - Shodmonzoda Parviz, the First Deputy General Director of OJSC “Dushanbe International Airport” - Malikzoda Asliddin, Deputy Director of “Air company Somon Air” LLC - Aliahmad Qurbonov, the First Deputy General Director of SUE “Tajikairnavigation” - Shodmonbekzoda Davron and employees of the Civil Aviation Agency and aviation enterprises.

It is gratifying that in 2024-2025, with the support of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, OJSC “Tajik Air”, in order to facilitate travel for citizens to remote cities and regions of the republic, a number of significant works were carried out regarding the opening of local routes. In particular, regular flights on the Dushanbe –Khorog route began on October 3, 2024, on the Dushanbe – Kulob route on January 15, 2025, and on the Dushanbe – Panjakent route on January 24, 2025.
